Rainier PR named PR Agency of the Year
30 October 2008
Rainier PR has won ‘PR Agency of the Year’ at the annual Flackenhacks PR Awards in recognition of the agency’s continued involvement in digital PR. The alternative PR industry awards celebrate best practice and innovation across the PR industry, and are the only awards in our sector voted for by the press.
Judges at the Flackenhacks said the award acknowledged Rainier PR’s innovation in delivering services to clients and the media, approach to managing its staff and market position as an industry leader in tech PR.
In the past year Rainier PR has strengthened its position as a digital PR innovator with a 20,000 word ePR eBook, launching the UK’s first mobile tech PR blog and successfully implementing digital PR campaigns for many of the agency’s business-to-business technology clients.
Stephen Waddington, managing director, said: “We are chuffed to bits to have been awarded PR Agency of the Year, in particular as this is an accolade that is voted for by the press who are the people that really matter as they write about our clients. The award shows our commitment to building relationships, delivering measurable business value for clients and driving the PR industry forward through innovation online.”
Rainier PR has also been shortlisted as ‘IT PR Company of the Year’ in the annual Computing Awards for Excellence 2008 run by Computing, which will be announced on 5 November at the Battersea Event Area in London. |
